Get ready to inspire a new generation of big thinkers and great tinkerers at the 2017 PS10  S.T.E.A.M. Fair, a community festival hosted by the PS10 PTA celebrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. Children, clubs, and hobbyists will exhibit their projects and inventions while businesses showcase classes, projects, and products.   This year’s theme S.T.E.A.M. Fair: A Space Odyssey, will examine science and technology through the fascinating lens of space exploration and theory.

S.T.E.A.M. Fair will also include S.T.E.A.M. Music, local kid bands and adult musicians.    We are also planning two big hands-on projects for the day of the event – The Big Build, where we’ll work together to make a project with one of our vendors and The Kinetic Playground, where we’ll turn our playground into a space station!   Additionally the "Live Science" zone will feature live science demonstrations by our vendors and at PTA run activities.

S.T.E.A.M. fair will take place at Brooklyn's P.S. 10, (511 7th Ave. at 17th St.).  Located in one of the most family-centric New York City neighborhoods of Park Slope, P.S. 10, The Magnet School of Math, Science & Technology is a culturally and economically diverse community. The P.S. 10 PTA supports the academic goals of the P.S. 10 administration through annual fundraising that assists in the funding of teaching assistants, books, supplies and arts education.  The P.S. 10 PTA leads an active school community that regularly organizes sell out events such as P.S. 10’s Got Talent, a celebration of our talented student performers and the importance of arts enrichments, Autumn Auction & Gala for School Enrichment and TENSTOCK a harvest festival for the community.
